Itinerary:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL – LOS ANGELES
Welcome to Los Angeles, the capital of the film and television industry, a booming cultural mecca with over 300 museums and perpetual pleasant weather! Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel on a seat-in basis.
DAY 2: LOS ANGELES
This morning explore Los Angeles during a half-day city tour including the famous Hollywood Boulevard, Graumann’s Chinese Theatre, the “Walk of Fame” and Sunset Strip. Afternoon at leisure to relax at the hotel or perhaps to join an optional sightseeing tour.
DAY 3: LOS ANGELES – PHOENIX/ SCOTTSDALE (644 km)
Board the motorcoach in Los Angeles, settle back and enjoy the scenery while traveling through the Mojave Desert across the Colorado River into Arizona. Discover the unique charm of the desert oasis, Phoenix/ Scottsdale, a blend of Southwestern architecture and magnificent saguaro cactus. This is an introduction to the American West.
DAY 4: PHOENIX/ SCOTTSDALE – SEDONA – GRAND CANYON – CAMERON AREA (471 km)
This morning the journey continues through the garden desert of Arizona to the lovely city of Sedona and then through Oak Creek Canyon. The area, known for its spectacular landscapes, has been the setting for many movies. The day ends with a visit of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
DAY 5: CAMERON AREA – MONUMENT VALLEY – ANTELOPE CANYON X – KANAB AREA (478 km)
This morning, continue to the Painted Desert and Monument Valley, land of the Navajo Indian. The valley’s unforgettable landscapes include mesas, buttes and rock spires. After Monument Valley, continue along to Page for a visit of Antelope Canyon X*. Late afternoon, cross the Colorado River before arriving in Kanab.
DAY 6: KANAB AREA – BRYCE CANYON – ZION – LAS VEGAS (519 km)
Early morning departure for a visit to a spectacular national park: Bryce Canyon. The canyon has a symphony of colours and shapes that will leave anyone breathless. Continue on to Zion National Park, a popular destination famous for its unique landscapes and majestic plateaus. The wonders continue at the final destination of today: Las Vegas, the city of lights and entertainment.
DAY 7: LAS VEGAS – LOS ANGELES (430 km)
The morning is free to enjoy Las Vegas. Relax at the pool, shop or visit any of the many attractions in this bustling resort. Option to end the tour in Las Vegas or, late morning, depart west through the deserts of southern California. Arrival in the Los Angeles area in late afternoon.
DAY 8: LOS ANGELES – DEPARTURE
Transfer to LAX Airport via the hotel’s shuttle.
*During heavy rainfall, Antelope Canyon may be closed to visitors due to risk of flooding which constitutes Force Majeure.
